Doda, Oct 24 (KNS): A Volley Ball Tournament was organized at Govt Hr. Sec. School Kastigarh under Civic Action Programme 2016-17 by Doda police.
In this tournament 08 teams from Kastigarh, Dessa, Bhagwah, Gurmal, Shaleen, HSS Bhagwah and HSS Kastigarh and Mandool have participated. The Semi Final match was played between HSS Kastigarh and Bhagwah which was won by Bhagwah and second semi final match was played between Gurmal and Shaleen which was won by Gurmal. The final match of the tournament was played between Bhagwah and Gurmal which was won by the Bhagwah.

The event was inaugurated by Sh. Mohammad Shabir SSP Doda. The main objective of organizing such events under CAP was to bridge the gap between Police and Public and to channelize the energy of youths towards sports and constructive activities.
On this occasion Addl. SP Ops Doda Sh Ravinderpal Singh, Dy SP Hqrs Doda Sh Iftkhar Ahmed, Principal Govt Hr Sec. School Kastigarh, Tehsidar Kastigarh and other respectable of the area were present.
The teams were awarded with trophy alongwith cash prizes and volley ball kits besides certificates to the participants. (KNS)
