Kupwara, Mar 20 (KNS): With refusing the surgeries of patient’s by doctors, the Community Health Center Kupwara has come under severe criticism with the patients alleging it to be a reason of immense hardships.
The patients while talking to KNS correspondent alleged that the doctors are refusing to conduct their surgeries in the government run hospital and prefer to conduct it at their private clinics.
“A few days back, my Daughter was dated for a gynecology surgery, but when the date was nearing the doctor namely Dr Muhammad Yousuf Khan advised me to go for a surgery at his private clinic and refused to conduct the surgery in CHC,” an attendant of the patient who hails from Hundi Kupwara told KNS.
He said that despite several pleads; he refused to conduct his daughter’s surgery.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“The doctor’s hardly bother to look into the sufferings of patient. They usually refer patients to private nursing homes where they practice after duty hours,” he alleged.
He said that he belong to a middle class family and can’t afford to spend hefty amount in the private institutions. “I appeal Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kupwara to personally intervene in this matter and redress the problem of poor patients as soon as possible,” he said.
CMO Kupwara, Dr Ghulam Nabi Lone told KNS that he will look into the matter. “Strict action will be taken against the person who will be involved in such kind of happenings,” he said.
Lone assured that patients in the hospital will not face any hardships from now onwards. (KNS)
