Srinagar, Jun 15 (KNS): Keeping in view the dawn to dusk exposure of Traffic Police Jawans and Officers to dust and hazardous vehicular emissions and consequent health concerns, SSP Traffic City Srinagar, Maqsood-ul-Zaman approached and requested the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir to direct the concerned to organize mobile health check-ups of traffic personnel in City Srinagar.
In a statement issued to KNS, Maqsood-ul-Zaman said that on 15th June, a team of doctors under the supervision of Dr. S. Muhammad Salim Khan associate Professor and HOD of Community Medicine Government Medical College Srinagar conducted a special health camp at Traffic Police Lines City Srinagar to access the health status of Jawans and Officers.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The camp will continue for the next few days at TPL City Srinagar.
Doctors at the camp conducted various check-ups of the Jawans and Officers of Traffic City Srinagar including Lung Function Test (LFT), Vision tests and other general physical checkups. About 100 Jawans / Officers visited the camp on first day. (KNS)
