Srinagar, Mar 13 (KNS): Darbar Move Employees Federation (DMEF), Jammu & Kashmir today convened an emergency meeting regarding continuation of bio-metric attendance in various Government offices putting lives of employees in risk.
In a statement issued to KNS, the federation appealed Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu to take measures in this regard, besides demanding regular protective Sanitizers spray in office witnessing huge rush. They also demanded and for providing sanitizers to employee to maintain proper hygiene.
Expressing concern, Vice President DMEF, Khurshid Ahmad said that workplace safety is very much important for each and every employee as all the employees desire to work in a safe and protected atmosphere.
Federation Media Secretary, Sameer Ajaz Mughal said that administration has already taken appreciable precautionary measures regarding this epidemic threat but there is need to look towards other precautionary measures includes alternative arrangements for ATM transactions and availability of sanitizers at ATM's for people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The federation also appealed Director Estates for necessary directions to hotel owners and private house landlords to fallow issued Government advisory in view of COVID-19 outbreak.
The Federation members also raised issue of overloading in public transport mainly during office timing is a matter of serious concern and appeals Lt. Governor for making arrangements and said that directions should be passed to Traffic Police to avoid overloading (KNS)
