Kulgam, Mar 14 (KNS): Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan today reviewed the status of implementation of the directions passed by the Chief Minister during the outreach programme of Kulgam district in a meeting here at Dak Bungalow.
DDC Kulgam, Talat Parvez Ruhella apprised the Divisional Commissioner about the action taken report on the CM’s directions. Divisional Commissioner was informed that out of 355 directions passed by the CM in the Public Darbar on 25thof November 2017, 68 have been implemented so far, while as rest are in different phases of implementation.
Reviewing the R&B sector, it was given out that construction of a road from Syed Saliha Ziyarat Sharief to Maskhud has been completed at a cost of Rs.26.60 lakhs. Likewise, construction of a road from Radwini to Babapora with a length of 5.50 Kms has been completed at a cost of three crores under NABARD. Further, the SE R&B said that work is in progress on construction of additional span of for Krallo Bridge, on Gujjar & Bakarwal Hostel at Kulgam, on the construction of a road from Nowbugh to Wasknag, renovation of Ziyarat Sharief at Turigam Devbugh, while as DPRs worth Rs. 1.10 Cr.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel2.07 crores, 3.71 crores and 13.46 crores have been submitted for construction, up gradation of Srundoo Paniwah road.
With regard to the power sector, it was given out that nine directions have been implemented so far in the district, which includes repairing of High Mast Lights at Kulgam town at a cost of Rs. five lakhs, repairing of defunct street lights at DH Pora and Manzgam.
Likewise, nine directions have been implemented in the Hydraulic sector so far.
The Divisional Commissioner was informed that five directions have been implemented in Rural Development Department, Kulgam so far, which include construction of crate bunds on Sonman Nallah, development of playfield at Wanigund Qaimoh and protection works at Bohri Nallah.
Similarly, the officers from JKPCC informed that out of two commitments, one commitment which was the construction of Ashmuji-Kilam Gund Bridge has been fully implemented.
DDC, Kulgam FCS&CA, Chief Planning Officer, Kulgam, SE& R&B Circle, Dy. Director Food & Supplies, CMO, CEO, Exens of PMGSY, Principals of colleges and all the district officers of PHE, PDD, PMGSY were present in the meeting. (KNS)
