Poounch , Jan 30 (KNS): The District Surveillance Committee was constituted today to monitor the functioning of Integrated Diseases Surveillance Programme in a meeting held at DC office Chamber. DDC Rahul Yadav is the chairperson of the Committee.
Preparatory measures were discussed to detect any epidemic at an early stage besides a rapid response team was also constituted during the meeting.
DDC appealed to the general public who have travel history to visit China since 1st, January, 2020 to come forward for self-reporting to the call center or the nearest health facility if they experience any symptoms of respiratory diseases and to inform their treating doctor.
