Srinagar, Jan 10 (KNS): District Congress Committee Budgam Congress today held a massive protest demonstration against demonetisation and corruption in Budgam, in which prominent Congress Leaders participated. The protest was led by Vice DCC President Zahid Hussain Jan.
JKPCC Spokes Person Farooq Andrabi, Sr. Leader G. N. Mir Lasjan, Ruhullah Gazi participated in the protest demonstration.
Congress Leaders strongly protested against demonetsation and termed it as a big scam of the century on the part of BJP at Centre, as result dozens of people lost their precious lives, while standing in long ques before ATM to get their money.
Blaming the Centre for causing great hardships to poor people of the country inorder to shift focus from its failures, they said demonitisation has cost more than hundred precious lives, besides destabilizing the Country’s economy, the impact of which would be more frightening.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelBJP cannot escape responsibility of loss of precious lives, they said.
They blamed Centre Govt for putting people to great hardships inorder to hide its failure on all fronts.
Taking a dig at PM for failing people of the country in every respect, Congress Leaders said PM should not have taken such a decision unilaterally, he should have taken the Opposition into confidence, besides seeking opinion opinion before taking such a sensitive decision, she added.
BJP has changed the currency to divert the attention of the people of its utter failure on all fronts, as the promised made by Narinder Modi with the people have fallen flat. They said Congress Party would continue to expose the wrong policies of the BJP at Centre and PDP BJP Coalition in the State. (KNS)
