 Bandipora 28 February (KNS): The District  Administration bandipora today arranged special Air sorties  to   evacuate the body of the deceased officer from Gurez area in Bandipora district ,as his body was laying  at hospital Gurez from last two days  due to inclement weather conditions as reason for not handing over the body to the family.

Today special air sorties was arranged from Gurez to bandipora were his body was give to his family for last rites .

The body of a senior officer of Rural Development Department (RDD), who died due to a massive cardiac arrest while performing his duty in Tulail area of Gurez on Friday , was  evacuated from Gurez to bandipora today .

An official told KNS  that a BDO identified as Abdul Saleem Darzi of Anantnag, posted at Tulail suffered a massive cardiac arrest while he was on duty , He said the officer was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.(KNS)
