Srinagar, June 18 (KNS): Apni Party Media Advisor on Friday expressed his gratitude to the Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha for resolving the lingering issue of Kerosene supplies in Kashmir Division on a fast-track basis.

In a statement issued to Kashmir News Service, Andrabi said that people from various corners of the valley had earlier complained about immense unavailability of Kerosene oil at the government depots due which the general public especially from far-flung areas had to suffer a lot.

“Apni Party raised this matter a week back and sought an immediate redressal of this public grievance. We called upon the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of J&K, and today we see that our efforts have borne desired results as the department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) have announced the distribution of Kerosene oil commencing with the months of May and June,” Andrabi remarked.

He said that it was due to the prompt intervention of the Lt. Governor that such an apposite step was taken in the interest of the general public.

“I firmly believe that enough Kerosene supplies will be maintained from now onwards and the people will not be allowed to suffer anymore,” he said.(KNS)
