Budgam, July 28 (KNS): Condemning the revoking of life sentence and granting bail to those army men responsible for Machil fake encounter, senior separatist leader and president Anjuman Shari Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi said that such encouragement to guilty army men will have serious ramifications. He said it has become clear now that army is encouraged for murdering Kashmiri people.
Addressing people at Central Imam Bara Budgam on Friday, Aga Hasan also condemned the arrest of separatist leaders by NIA. He said that such tactics will not break the resolve of these leaders. “Fake and fabricated cases lodged against separatist leaders is a conspiracy to defame people’s freedom struggle in Kashmir,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“On the one hand Government of India is assuring people of Kashmir that talks will be held once peace prevails in Valley, while on the other, leaders are being arrested to defame them. Such actions on part of government of India will have serious consequences,” Aga Hasan said.
Condemning the continuous lock down of historic Jamia Masjid, Aga Hasan said that it is a direct interference in religious affairs. “Restrictions and curfew is aimed at to harass people. Disallowing prayers is unacceptable and it is high time we sit together and formulate a strategy,” he said. (KNS)
