Srinagar, 31 May (KNS): Director Horticulture Kashmir, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat(KAS), today took stock of the situation in response to various reports regarding damage caused to the orchards in District Shopian due to spray of Breeza (active ingredients Captan 70% +Hexaconazole 5% WP).

Besides, he directed the concerned Chief Horticulture Officer to submit the factual report within two days. 

Furthermore, keeping in view the concerns of the orchardists, 
The director instructed the field officers of the District to sample the said fungicide for testing and also issue stop-sale notification for the said fungicide till the factual report is received.(KNS)
