Srinagar, January 01:(KNS) Director Agriculture Kashmir Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal today convened a meeting of Heads of All sections of the department at Lalmandi.

Chowdhary Iqbal stressed on maintaining close coordination for achieving the desired results. He advocated for close monitoring, effective simultaneous implementation of reforms at all levels.

Director instructed the officers of the department for effective work culture and directed them to gear up their staff to work with full dedication, discipline and professionalism.

Director Agriculture Kashmir Stressed upon the officers to depute field functionaries on the regular field visits to their respective jurisdictions for awareness generation among the farming community regarding latest technological interventions.

Later Director Agriculture conducted an inspection of Agriculture complex Lalmandi along with senior officers of the directorate.

Director Agriculture interacted with the employees and lauded the role of the employees for making the department relevant and stressed them for extending all possible help to the farming community to give boost to the agriculture sector.

Chowdhary directed the employees to put-in all efforts and professional endeavour for making the agriculture sector more remunerative . He stressed for adoption of accountable and transparent mechanism during their routine official duties. (KNS)
