Srinagar,28 May (KNS): Director Horticulture Kashmir, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, today conducted an extensive tour of South Kashmir and made a visit to Advanced Centre for Horticulture Development (ACHD), Zainapora, where he took stock of various activities being carried out at the Farm and expressed his satisfaction over various works and lauded the work done on disease control management.

The Director also visited Nut Nursery at Zainapora and appreciated the work of the engineering Wing of the Department for the installation of Deep Bore Well and Storage Tank with the distribution system and also urged for timely completion of remaining work.

Moreover, the Director instructed the field functionaries to give wide publicity to the different schemes of the Department so that the farming community gets benefited. He also directed them to provide maximum support in the case of bore-well and shallow well, especially in rain fed areas.(KNS)
