Kupwara, Dec 25 (KNS): The Government of India’s special representative, Dineshwar Sharma Monday reached Srinagar drove towards north Kashmir’s Kupwara district to meet the various delegations throughout the day.
Notably, it is third visit of Sharma to the Valley after he was appointed by the GoI as interlocutor to pave way for the dialogue to resolve Kashmir issue.
Sharma as per the officials met various delegations throughout the day during which people raised several issues with him.
The security as per the officials was tightened ahead of Sharma’s visit to the frontier district Kupwara.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“Sharma will spend the night at Kupwara district,” officials said.
Sharma would likely visit Baramulla tomorrow (Tuesday) where is scheduled to meet various delegations.
Earlier, Sharma on his first visit stayed at Srinagar where he met various delegations including mainstream as well as the opposition leaders.
On his second visit, the interlocutor visited South Kashmir and met various delegations there during which he had stated that he will try to reach out to the separatist leaders as well. (KNS)
