Srinagar, Aug 02 (KNS): The residents of Kupwara district are up in arms against the authorities for failing to macadamize the interiors of the district.
Accusing the higher ups for ignoring their plights, the residents here have demanded immediate redressal of the genuine grievances.
Firdous Ahmad, one among the residents said that the authorities have failed to macadamize the link road from main Kupwara town to New Colony Dudwan.
He said that the roads near district Jail and Tehsil office here have also not been macadamized since long thereby leaving the commuters here to lurch at large.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Ahmad said that they approached several higher ups so far but unfortunately nobody paid heed over their sufferings. “We are being forced to face tremendous hardships due to the non-macadamization of the roads,” he said.
The residents later appealed higher ups to look into the matter and redress their genuine grievances at earliest so that the local populace there could feel a sigh of relief. (KNS)
