DIG Sujit Kumar, SSP Rakesh Balwal among ten officers awarded DG CRPF’s commendation disc and certificate

Srinagar, Sep 23 (KNS): Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Kashmir Range, Sujit Kumar and Senior Superintendent of Police, Srinagar, Rakesh Balwal are among ten officers of J&K Police who were awarded Director General CRPF commendation Disc for outstanding performance during Amarnath Yatra 2022. 

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS)  that DG’s disc and commendation certificate has been awarded to DIG Sujit Kumar IPS, SSP Srinagar Rakesh Balwal IPS among other 10 officers of J&K for their commendable services in conducting ‘Amarnath yatra’ successfully and facilitating the companies deployed there.

He said that the disc and the commendation certificate has been awarded to them for successful completion of Amarnath Yatra without any untoward incident.

The official futher said that these officers were responsible to arrange stay and accommodation for visitors in consultation with the civil administrations. "As a result of which they stayed and safely reached to their next destination," he said.

The other police officers awarded DG CRPF’s disc and commendation certificate are Zubair Ahmad Khan(SSP, PCR), Muhammad Yosouf (SSP Awanitpur), Ashish Mishra(SSP Anantnag), Dr.G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy(SSP Kulgam), Arif Amin Shah(SP HQR Srinagar),Mushtaq Ahmad(DSP), Farooq Hussain(DSP) and Shamim Ahmad(HC(M)—(KNS)
