DIG North Kashmir seeks support of people to fight covid pandemic

Baramulla, April 27 (KNS): Deputy Inspector General (DIG) North Kashmir Range Sujit K Singh today sought the cooperation of the public to fight the 2nd wave of Covid19. 

In a video message, he said stressed upon the general public to fully cooperate with civil administration and police to combat the spread of covid19. 
"Since you know that there has been a steep rise of the covid19 cases in North Kashmir and around, but at the same time people are recovering from this deadly virus," he said. 
This pandemic is taking human lives away, snatching the smiles of many households, in this situation I request everyone to, wear masks, strictly adhere to the SoPs and to maintain social distancing, follow all government guidelines in letter and spirit, he said. 

"The police personal who are deployed at Nakas, during day and night to implement to covid SoPs are your own brothers, extend your full cooperation to them to combat this pandemic," he said.

"Inshallah, the fight against covid19 will continue, we will save lives, we will bring the smile back. The coming Eid will be a festival of joy and pleasure. 
On behalf of police and civil administration, I request you again to strictly adhere to the covid19 guidelines and wear face masks," he added. (KNS)
