DIG IRP Kashmir visits Battalion headquarters in Lethpora

Srinagar, Jan 23 (KNS): DIG IRP Kashmir Range Abdul Qayoom on Monday visited Battalion Headquarters of IRP 23rd Battalion at Lethpora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

According to a statement he was accorded a warm reception by Commandant IRP 23rd Battalion Baqar Samoon along with other gazetted officers and a Guard of Honour was also presented. 

The statement reads he later chaired a meeting which was attended by Commandant Baqar Samoon, Principal CTC Lethpora, Tanveer Jeelani, adjutant Hira Lal Pandita and deputy commandant Mushtaq Ahmad. 

It reads during the meeting problems like accommodation issue, transportation issue and other problems faced by the officers of the battalion were discussed.

“Besides, accommodation for the players of forth coming 71st All India Police Football championship 2022-23 being organized by J&K police was discussed with Principal CTC Lethpora.”’
              
It added Commandant IRP 23rd Battalion briefed DIG over the present status of under construction Battalion Headquarters. 

He also thanked DIG for sparing his precious time for visiting the headquarters. (KNS)
