Head of Trainings Mehboob Hussain distributes prizes among Best models
Srinagar, Apr 10 (KNS): District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET), Srinagar today organized District Level INSPIRE Science Model Exhibition at Bemina in which 30 Science models prepared by the students of different schools of District Srinagar were presented. Head of the Trainings Mehboob Hussain was the Chief Guest on this occasion. He after observing the exhibited models distributed prizes among the students with best models. He said that these type of programmes will help in attracting the students towards the Science. Professor Ghulam Mohi ud din, Head of the Institute of Technology and Gyan Cell University of Kashmir who was the Guest of Honor on the occasion said that it is the need of the hour to develop scientific temperament in the students. He said that the conduct of these type of programmes is very appreciable step by the Department.
Later on Head of the Trainings Mehboob Hussain interacted with about 100 M. Ed students from Government College of Education, Srinagar who were participating in One Day Training programme organized by SIE Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe stressed upon the students to take every training programme seriously as they are the future of our nation.
It is pertinent to mention that when SIE Kashmir is organizing training programmes in different subjects for the teachers of the Department; the Institute is also organizing training programmes for the students of many colleges of the Valley which is very encouraging. This was stated by Research Officer SIE Kashmir Dr. Rabia Naseem Mughal who was also the coordinator of the programme while taking the students to different sections and laboratories of the Institute.
At the end prize distribution ceremony for the District Level Science Exhibition was held in which the Head of the DIET Srinagar Neelofar Naheed threw light on the purpose of the organizing the event. On the occasion the teachers and students from many schools were also present. (KNS)
