Srinagar, Feb 15 (KNS):  : Chief Education Officer Bandipora Javid Iqbal Saturday inaugurated a 3-day orientation programme for Heads of Secondary and Senior Secondary Institutions of the district.

The programme is being organized by District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Bandipora and was attended by Heads of Institutions, ZEOs, ZEPOs and ZRPs of the district.

 Speaking on the occasion, CEO Bandipora said that the programme aimed at informing the heads of Institutions about the yearlong curricular and extra-curricular activities.

He said during the programme, the audience shall be given a readymade reference for School Activities that includes both Academic & Co-Curricular Activities for engagement of Children.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said the participants will be oriented about the modern methods of Teaching Learning right from ECCE stage to Elementary Stage besides informing them about methods to track and assess Learning Outcomes of the Child besides information about School Working Days, information about Periodical Assessments in School, Curriculum Tracking, Remedial Education, Community & Parent Involvement, Accountability of Teachers and Students, celebrating Important days, formation of school kids, School Houses for Discipline , Punctuality & School Ownership of Child

While stressing on value based education, CEO asked the Heads of the institutions to take measures for imparting morale education to the students and also become role models for the students. Experts stressed on several topics including School Grading based on the Performance of Schools (School Performance Index), school Grading based on the Performance of Schools (School Performance Index) and other related activities including School Houses for Discipline, Punctuality & School Ownership of Child. The participants will also be informed about the accounts related matters (KNS).
