Srinagar, Jun 16 (KNS): Chaiman PDF and MLA Khansahib Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has expressed concern over the killing of innocent civilians under the garb of unknown gunmen adding that every one in kashmir feels insecure.
Addressing a huge public gathering, before offering Eid prayers, at Jamia Masjid Khansahib this morning, Hakeem Yaseen said that the security situation in the kashmir valley was getting bad to worst with every passing day and the killings by the unknown gunmen has caused fear and anxiety among the civilians.
He said no body knows who kills whom and why as the killers always remain un identified. He said that the Government has totally failed on security and law and order fronts.
He said the latest victim of this anarchy has been the son of soil journalist Syed Shujat Bukhari who was assasinated in broad day light by unknown gunmen for being the bold voice of the innocent people
He apppealed to all the social and political organizations of the state to adopt a united strategy to end ongoing blood shed in kashmir instead of washing dirty linen against each other at this crucial time.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While seeking an an end to the ongoing cycle of senseless killings and bloodshed Hakeem Yaseen has urged for initiating a result oriented dialogue process between India-Pakistan and relevent stakeholders to resolve the vexed kashmir imbrilogo. "Peace can never return in the state unless dialogue and reconciliation are initiated adding that the center should instead of using brute force to deal with the current situation in Kashmir by Military might, work towards winning hearts and minds of the Kashmiri's and address their socio-political aspirations.
He has, appealed leadership of both the neighbouring countries to sit together to end the ongoing bloodshed and mayhem in the state for the sake of humanity. (KNS)
