Diagnostic center association accuses BMO Bandipora of harassment

Srinagar, Feb 18 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Diagnostic Center Association President Mohd Umar Iqbal   on Tuesday accused BMO Bandipora of harassing diagnostic centers unnecessarily. 

While talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said, he said, " BMO Bandipora, is conducting unnecessary raids, entering their diagnostic centres and labs and harassing them and the patients present there," he said.

Despite the owners possessing all the required documents, the BMO is making difficult for us to carry out our work to serve people, he said. 

While accusing BMO of misusing his power and making unnecessary interference, he said, " the regular harassment is bringing down our reputation among people, he said. 

During the Covid19, we kept our diagnostic centers open round the clock to provide all possible assistance to patients, he said.
" All his accusations of regarding our units are baseless and are aimed at misleading the higher-ups”, they said.  "BMO Bandipora is forcing us to come out on roads", he added. 

“We are not running our operations illegally, as our units are registered with the Health Department and all the accusations against us are not holding any truth”, he said.

“He has a record of harassing people and he sealed dozens of medical shops and other establishments in Pattan area when he was posted there, which are operational now. If they were illegal how they are working now”, they alleged.


He asked Director Health to intervene, and allow diagnostic centers to function smoothly, he further added.
