DHSK remembers Dr Mir Mohammad Ashraf on his first death anniversary

Srinagar, Aug 09:(KNS)  Directorate of Health Services Kashmir remembered Dr Mir Mohammad Ashraf, who died of Covid last year, on his first death anniversary on Monday and prayed for the departed soul.

Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Rather prayed for the late doctor and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.

The director hailed his contribution and said that his contribution in the health care system would be always remembered.

“He was a real Covid warrior who fought for the people and got himself infected. We remember his sacrifices and pray for the departed soul,” he said.

Dr Mir Mohammad Ashraf was working as a senior medical officer at District Hospital Pulwama.  He died due to Covid-19 on 09 August 2020. He was working in Covid ward where he was infected and had died at SKIMS Soura.

His death had caused a shock wave in the doctors’ fraternity and in the general public.(KNS)
