Kupwara April 24 (KNS): The Director of Health Services Kashmir Mushtaq Ahmed Rather on Saturday inaugurated the Oxygen generating plant at Sub District Hospital Kupwara.

Talking exclusive to KNS, the Director Health Kashmir said, " the present situation is stable, but from the past few days, the cases are rising aggressively. The overall situation is not so bad," he said.

He said the health department is fully prepared to deal with the situation arising due to the rise in Covid19 positive cases.

"Today I am in Kupwara to throw open the Oxygen plant with a capacity of 1000 litres per minute (LPM). This project is a major relief to the people of Kupwara," he added.

Reacting to a query, the Director Health Kashmir said, "we have enough stock of covid vaccine with us. Vaccination drive is going on across the Kashmir."

He urged the people to strictly adhere to the covid19 guidelines and follow SOPs.

"Vaccinate yourself, do not fall prey to rumours. The only Vaccine can prevent us from the deadly Covid19 virus," he added.(KNS)
