Srinagar, Aug 20 (KNS) : Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat on Thursday undertook a comprehensive on-ground assessment of the security architecture at the Temporary Operating Bases (TOBs) in the Shaliganga area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district, underscoring the police force’s unwavering commitment to fortifying the anti-militancy grid in the Valley.
The top cop, accompanied by IGP Kashmir V.K. Birdi, senior police officer Rajiv Pandey, and SSP Budgam Hariprasad K.K., conducted a meticulous review of the operational readiness and logistic efficacy of the forward deployment hubs. The high-level visit focused on evaluating the robustness of the current security drills and the synergy among the forces stationed at these strategic locations.
Official sources informed KNS that the review was part of the force’s proactive strategy to recalibrate its response mechanisms in view of the prevailing security dynamics.
