‘FIR has already been registered against the culprits’

Jammu, Mar 21 (KNS): Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar on Monday contacted on phone SSP Mohali in Punjab and discussed different aspects regarding the incident which took place on 15th March intervening night at village Chilla in Sector 81 of Mohali. He enquired from the SSP the facts which led to the untoward incident in which some JK students were harassed by some locals.
Rajendra was told that FIR has already been registered against the culprits and speedy investigation is going on.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe asked the SSP to take stern action against the accused involved in the incident and book them under law. He also asked to take all preventive measures to avoid such incidents in future and ensure the safety of JK students. He said that the students from the State studying in other States should not feel themselves insecure and steps at different levels would be got enquired to feel themselves in a congenial atmosphere.
