Claim dip in militancy, stone pelting, say "Youth should drop gun, join mainstream for normal, peaceful life"

Srinagar, Apr 24 (KNS): Director General Police Dilbagh Singh and General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps Lt General KJS Dhillon here on Wednesday called upon local militants to shun the path of violence and return to mainstream.

Addressing a press conference Dilbagh Singh and Lt General KJS Dhillon claimed that the number of local youths joining militancy and stone pelting incidents have witnessed drop in the Kashmir valley.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Claiming that there is a considerable drop in the number of local youths joining militancy which is a positive trend, Singh and Lt Gen Dhillon produced a Pak resident militant before the media. They said the number of stone pelting incidents has also witnessed major dip which too is a positive sign.

Lt Gen Dhillon urged local militants to drop the gun and join the mainstream for a normal and peaceful life. (KNS)
