DG Horticulture reviews implementation of newly launched Modified High Density Scheme

Srinagar, Nov 26 (KNS): Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (KAS), Director General Horticulture, Kashmir on Friday convened a meeting at Directorate of Horticulture Rajbagh Srinagar.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Director, Assistant Director, and Chief Horticulture Officers of Kashmir Division and representatives of private empanelled agencies.

The meeting was held to review the implementation of newly launched Modified High Density Scheme.

At the outset of meting Director General Horticulture, Kashmir deliberated on the progress of the Scheme. He also took feedback from CHOs and private empanelled agencies.

He also stressed upon the private agencies to follow the PeQ protocol in letter and spirit and directed the CHOs for its implementation in their respective district. He urged upon all the Officers to complete the allotted targets within the stipulated time and said that any non-performance on part of any officer shall not be tolerated.

Director General also instructed the Chief Horticulture Officers and empanelled agencies to hold joint awareness camp in order to disseminate information about the scheme to common masses. He further urged on the concerned for early submission of JIT reports in respect of various projects established with the Government assistance.

At the end Director General thanked all the participants and stressed upon all the stakeholders to make this scheme a success. (KNS)
