Convey incarcerated Shah’s message to them

Srinagar, Feb 09 (KNS): A delegation of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Tuesday visited Shaheed Muhammad Afzal Guru’s ancestral home at Doabgah, Sopore in north Kashmir while meeting his family members and expressing solidarity with them on Shaheed Guru’s 3rd martyrdom anniversary.
“On the directions of party Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah, a delegation comprising Er Farooq Ahmad Khan, Molvi Bashir Ahmad, Muhammad Yousuf Bhat, Muhammad Ibrahim, Feroz Ahmad and others, succeeded in reaching Shaheed Afzal Guru’s residence despite stiff police restrictions,” a spokesperson of DFP said in a statement to KNS.
The delegation also conveyed Shabir Ahmad Shah’s message to family members and assured them that demand of returning Shaheed Afzal Guru’s mortal remains will continue. They also maintained that Shabir Ahmad Shah couldn’t come due to continuous house imprisonment.
Expressing solidarity with Shaheed Afza Guru’s family and paying tributes to him, the delegation said Afzal’s hanging exposed how the so-called world’s largest democracy violated the basic human rights and how it consolidates its illegal occupation of a ‘once free state’ at the cost of fabricating the innocent in false cases.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Meanwhile, in connection with 37th anniversary of Iranian revolution, Shabir Ahmad Shah in his message to the leaders and scholars of that nation expressed hope that Iran, as a well-wisher nation, will continue its support to Kashmiris in their freedom movement. (KNS)
