Condemns reign of oppression unleashed by forces across Valley

Srinagar, Nov 02 (KNS): The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Wednesday paid tributes to Shaheed Faisal Yousuf Bhat and Shaheed Merajuddin Dar of Nowgam who were martyred by Indian occupational forces on November 2, 2014.
On his day, Indian occupational forces showered bullets on these youths near Chattergaam without warning them when they were travelling in a car.
In a statement issued to KNS, a DFP spokesperson said the youths were neither carrying gun nor a stone but fell to the indiscriminate firing of Indian forces. “Both young boys were students. The so-called government of Jammu Kashmir and Indian army ordered a probe into the incident and pledged of bringing the culprits to book but nothing practical was done on ground,” he said.
The spokesperson said: “Today, we pay glowing tributes to Shaheed Faisal Yousuf Bhat and Shaheed Merajuddin Dar and all the martyrs of Jammu Kashmir and pledge to continue our struggle for freedom from Indian occupational rule.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
Strongly condemning the reign of oppression unleashed by occupational forces across Valley, the spokesperson those championing for the cause of ‘battle of ideas’ should feel ashamed of their sham slogans. “Is paralyzing the State’s economy part of their so-called vision,” he questioned.
The spokesperson alleged that SHO Hajin has spread a reign of terror in the area and is harassing and intimidating the general public including the women.
He strongly condemned the arrest of Professor Imtiyaz Ahmad “who was arrested in lieu of his brother-in-law Hilal Ahmad who is a senior Freedom Party activist”. “Such actions are highly condemnable. We demand immediate release of Professor Imtiyaz Ahmad,” he said. (KNS)
