Expresses grief over demise of Arshad Malik

Srinagar, Dec 14 (KNS): The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Wednesday paid tributes to Shaheed Basit Rasool who was martyred while fighting the Indian occupational forces at Bevoora, Srigufwara in Bijbehara of south Kashmir.
In a statement issued to KNS, DFP Secretary General Moulana Abdullah Tari said, “We’re indebted to the sacrifices of our martyrs and committed to take their mission to its logical conclusion. We won’t let anyone play with their pious sacrifices.”
He expressed condolence and solidarity with Shaheed Basit’s family.
On the directions of chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah, a party delegation visited the residence of Shaheed Basit at Marhama village of Bijbehara and expressed condolence with the family.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe delegation comprising of Aadil Ahmad Wagay, Ghulam Rasool, and others also participated in the funeral prayers of Shaheed Basit.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson of Freedom Party expressed grief over the sudden demise of the consulting editor of Kashmir Life Arshad Malik who suffered a major cardiac arrest on Tuesday evening.
The spokesperson expressed condolence with the bereaved family and prayed for their forbearance besides peace to the departed soul. (KNS)
