Expresses grief over elderly person’s death due to teargas shelling

Srinagar, Nov 17 (KNS): The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Thursday paid tributes to Aali Kadal martyrs saying “our nation is indebted to their sacrifices and they will always be remembered”.
The Aali Kadal martyrs include Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Hameed, Shaheed Advocate Jameel Chowdhary, Shaheed Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Shaheed Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh, Shaheed Mushtaq Ahmad Kutey, Shaheed Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, and Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Lone.
In a statement issued to KNS, DFP general secretary Moulana Abdullah Tari also paid tributes to Shaheed Ghulam Nabi Bhat, the brother of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat.
Moulana Tari said, “We are indebted to all our martyrs who sacrificed their precious lives for the freedom of this nation.”
Praying for Aali Kadal martyrs, Tari said Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Hameed and his associated sacrificed their lives for a greater cause and “we’re duty-bound to continue our freedom struggle till we accomplish their mission”.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Moulana Tari also remembered those children martyred during the last four months saying “our eyes are moist and we will not let their sacrifices go waste”.
Meanwhile, the DFP general secretary expressed deep grief over the death of an elderly civilian Ghulam Muhammad Khan of Elahi Bagh, Soura, who succumbed to his injuries in SKIMS on Thursday.
Khan was hit by teargas shell on November 2 and was hospitalised since then.
“The Indian forces have become so barbaric that they don’t even spare the elderly people,” Tari said and prayed for forbearance to the bereaved family. (KNS)
