Srinagar, June 2 (KNS): Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, Srinagar, on Thursday organized an awareness rally to highlight the achievements of Central Government in past two years under the theme ‘Mera Desh Badal Raha Hai - Aagay Badh Raha Hai’.
The rally, in which more than 500 school children from different schools of Budgam district participated, was flagged-off by the District Development Commissioner, Budgam, Mir Altaf Ahmad.
Assistant Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Govt. of India, Neha Jalali said that the aim and objectives of such programmes was to reach out to people in every nook and corner of the country including Jammu & Kashmir state with information about the welfare schemes started by GoI for betterment of common masses.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelShe said that series of such programmes will be held in all parts of the state and awareness about Centrally Sponsored Welfere Schemes and GoI’s flagship programmes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Make in India, Ujjawala, Skill India, Sukanya Samrithi Yojana, Mudra Yojna, Digital Literacy Mission and Indradanush would be created.
