‘Champions of battle of ideas waged war against people, leaders’

Srinagar, Nov 11 (KNS): Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Friday strongly condemned the arrest of its district president Kupwara, Peer Inayatullah, during nocturnal raid saying the champions of ‘battle of ideas’ have turned the State into a Nazi camp.
In a statement issued to KNS, a DFP spokesperson said those beating the drums of democracy and ‘battle of ideas’ have waged a war against the people and political leaders possessing different ideology.
He said arrest is based on political “vengeance” and “unjustified”.
“Prior to Peer Inayatullah’s arrest, Freedom Party’s Jammu president Moulana Abdul Qayoom, Saifuddin Bhaagwan (Kishtwar), Abdul Basit Malik (Safa Kadal), Aaqib Ahmad Dar, Abdul Rasheed (Beerwah), Muhammad Amin (district president Pulwama), Rouf Ahmad (Islamabad), and dozens of other party workers and activists have been arrested and booked under PSA,” the spokesperson said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
