Despite sunny days, cold continues in Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 17 (KNS): Despite sunny days, intense chill continued in Kashmir with Srinagar recording a minimum temperature of minus 1.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
A spokesperson of Meteorological Department said Pahalgam tourist resort in South Kashmir and ski-resort Gulmarg in north Kashmir were the two coldest recorded places in the valley with minimum temperature at both the places recorded at minus 10.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel0 degrees Celsius.
He said Qaziguind, the gateway town to the Valley, recorded a minimum of minus 1.8 degrees Celsius while frontier Kupwara in north recorded a low of minus 0.7 degrees Celsius.
Leh recorded a minimum temperature of minus 16.7 degrees Celsius, he added. (KNS)
