Srinagar, Mar 20 (KNS): With passing four days since the passengers vehicle plunged into a deep gorge on Thursday forenoon, the police and administration are yet to trace the three bodies of passengers, feared dead, who were washed away in Bishlari Nullah.
Police and locals administration in Ramban district had intensified the efforts to trace the missing passengers. However, the bodies are still untraced.
A top Police officila told KNS that police and local administration is still on job to trace the missing passengers who hails from Shopian.
“We are still tracing the biddies of three passengers and hopefully, they will be traced soon,” he said.
Three missing persons who were washed away in the Bishlarinullah waters were identified as Abdur Rehman Mir, Muhammad Hussain Mir and Muhammad Ashraf Bhat—all residents of Shopian.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Four passengers died while three others were feared dead when a passenger vehicle fell into a deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Thursday. “Eight passengers were travelling in a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03-8881, when the cab, on way from Shopian to Jammu, skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at Ramsoo in Ramban district,” an official has said.
Police has identified the dead as Haajat Mir, son of Naseer Mir, and Sikander Mir, both residents of Chak-e-Syedpora Shopian. (KNS)
