Srinagar, Nov 20 (KNS): Despite Jammu and Kashmir High Court directed Gulmarg Development Authority (GDA) to remove all illegal constructions, the illegal construction in Drang, Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district goes unabated while the authorities are acting as mute spectator with taking no action against the offenders.
According to KNS correspondent, locals said that amid unrest in the Valley, the illegal construction in Drang, Tangmarg goes unabated.
They said that the authorities hardly bother to look into the matter. “We approached to the GDA officials in this regard but unfortunately nothing has been done in this regard,” they said.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gulmarg, Shafqat Iqbal said that he is unaware about the development.
However, he said that, “I will look into the matter.” (KNS)
