Srinagar, Feb 08 (KNS): A deputation of employees of Wool board called on General Secretary, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nizamudin Bhat at office headquarters here on Monday.
The employees were serving the Wool Board after they were deputed to the Board from their parent department, Sheep and Animal Husbandry department, long before.
The deputation was made as the Wool Board is linked with their parent Department as its sister organisation. Despite the fact that Wool Board is a service sector, the employees have been rendered to commercial agents without any budgetary support for their salaries.
Though some of the employees have been taken back to parent Department to ameliorate their lot, restore them their status and ably utilize their potential and services, those still with Board are denied remuneration, salaries and ancillary service benefits, consequently , they suffer.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The Financial Commissioner Sheep Husbandry has recently taken cognizance of their suffering and merit of the case, however the actual decision is pending, Bhat expressed satisfaction over the consideration accorded by the Financial Commissioner and hopes that appropriate decision will be taken to save the Board as well as the employees.
