Budgam,Nov 10 (KNS): Department of horticulture Budgam in collaboration with Adfer farmer producer organization Ltd Budgam organized day long awareness camp at sheikhul alam hall Budgam.
Deputy commissioner Budgam, S F Hamid, Chief horticulture officer Budgam Muhammad Iqbal and Farooq Aga were present, statement issued to KNS reads.
In this program focus was laid on Famers production organization and speakers on this occasion spread awareness about these FPO's and motivated farmers to go for these FPO's.Deputy commissioner Budgam on this occasion said that farmers should adopt modern techniques and technology in farming so that more benefits can be drwan from them.He further said that district administration has received a positive response from field of horticulture and agriculture and are expecting more positive response from the department.Moreover in this program experts from different fields spoke on different topics related to agriculture and horticulture.(KNS)
