Bandipora, May, 15(KNS): The Handicrafts and Handloom Department Block Gurez Monday organised a day-long Awareness cum Exhibition camp at Bagtore, Gurez.
AHTO Gurez, Owais Ahmad inaugurated the camp while Senior craft instructors,Showkat Ahmad , Junior Craft Instructor Ab Rashid Mir ,Sarpanchs, ward members besides large number of artisans attended the camp.
He appealed the artisan fraternity to come forward and get themselves registered with the department so that benefits available for them are availed off by them without any difficulty and they are helped to stand on their own.
On the occasion about 70 artisans registration cards were distributed among the artisans.(KNS).
