SRINAGAR, APRIL 24 (KNS): The Department of Animal Husbandry today celebrated World Veterinary Day themed, ‘Veterinarian Response to the Covid-19 Crisis’ through the virtual mode from the meeting hall of Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Kashmir.

The event was chaired by Director Animal Husbandry Department, Kashmir, Purnima Mittal.

The Director Animal Husbandry Kashmir on the occasion lauded the role of Vets for performing beyond their routine assignments and advised all officers to work with more zeal in times to come.

During the event, all the sectoral officers highlighted the role and dedication of Veterinarians during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The event culminated with the distribution of certificates among the best veterinarians.

Various officers from the Directorate office attended the event while the divisional and sectoral officers participated through virtual mode.(KNS)
