Srinagar, Jan 02 (KNS): Criticizing the Centre Government over the issue of demonetization, Congress today asked the Prime Minister Modi to explain people how much black money has been recovered and where is that money. The Party also sought explanation over various aspects connected with demonetization, which has put the people to a great hardships cross the Country.
Addressing a presser at Bandipora today, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi lashed out at Centre Govt for the confusion created due to the so-called demonetization and blamed Centre for loss of more than hundred precious lives due to the long ques before the ATMs across the Country. He said Prime Minister has made the people beg for their own money, he said.
He sought answer from the Centre Govt as to what it has achieved by bringing the demonetization in the country, how much black money it has recovered as was claimed by Narinder Modi, he questioned.
He said Congress Party will expose the BJP and Prime Minister Modi for the unfulfilled commitment made with the people about black money that he has claimed to recover within 50 day, now that the 50 days have passed, but there is no sign of improvement on ground, rather it has it has badly affected the Country’s economy the impact of which would be very serious, ahead.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Addressing the media District President Congress Imtiyaz Ahmad Parray accused the Centre for failing to prove its claim with regard to demonetization, which has inflicted heavy losses to people especially Country’s economy.
He said the so called demonetization has incurred huge losses to people especially business community, besides rendering thousands of people jobless, I want to ask the BJP especially Prime Minister, how many thousand crores Centre has got so far, how many hoarders were arrested or punished, although Congress party wants that flow of black money must be stopped completely and people behind this unlawful business must be identified for sever punishment, but Congress Party shall never allow BJP to play with the emotions of people on so called demonetization, which was absolutely a wrong decision on the part of Prime Minister.
