Srinagar, Oct 09 (KNS): Dukhtaran e Millat has expressed astonishment and has condemned the police conducting raids to locate its just released president Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi. Party has said that the government was searching for the leader as if she was a fugitive or a criminal.
“After hearing her case a court released our president on bail after almost a month’s unjustified detention. Since she is sick she straightaway went to a doctor for a medical checkup, as she has developed severe pain in both her knees, but we were astonished to see a police team raiding her house and asking for her whereabouts” a party spokesperson said. She said that finding her absent at home many of Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi’s relatives were raided and searches conducted in their houses.
According to a statement issued to KNS, condemning the police action the spokesperson said “Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi was released after fifth bail order was passed in her favor yesterday but we fail to understand why police is again after her”. She said that the present dispensation in the state has crossed all the limits and has proved to be worst and shameless. “Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi is seriously sick but despite this they kept her under detention and when she finally could come out yesterday they have again started searching for her in such a way as if she is a fugitive or a criminal.
She added that “Dukhtaran e Millat president is a popular and reputed leader having huge following but the puppet government is proving rude and arrogant which is unacceptable”. The party has questioned the police action by asking “if they wanted to detain her why was she released, why they are bothering her small kids and relatives by repeatedly raiding their houses”.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The spokesperson said that Jammu Kashmir has been turned in such a jungle where even the judiciary is not respected. “A Police raid on Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi’s house, after she was released by court, is tantamount to the contempt of court”
In the meanwhile party has condemned Hindu fanatics for provoking oppressed Kashmiri nation by trying to hurl the Indian flag in Lalchowk Srinagar. She said that the world should notice that how these forces try to provoke and then kill our children. “The forces know that Kashmiri’s are angry seeing Indian flag so they wanted to do a mischief, provoke Kashmiri’s and then get them killed while they protest”.
Party has however appreciated the people who prevented the RSS goons from hoisting the Indian flag and said that it was occupying forces that saved these paid agents from the wrath of freedom loving Kashmiri people.
Dukhtaran e Millat spokesperson while ridiculing such acts said “they may again try and can even hoist Indian flag anywhere in presence of their military but such childish acts cannot fetch any fruits for India”. She further said “the only relation Kashmir has with India is of an occupier and occupied and the tricolour will continue to be seen as an icon of tyranny, occupation, cruelty, barbarism etc even if it is hoisted everywhere”.
