 Srinagar, Nov 08 (KNS): With the delay in distribution of new ration cards to the consumers of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, the Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CA&PD) department has come under severe criticism with the consumers alleging it to be a reason of immense hardships.
According to KNS correspondent, Bhat Zahoor, the residents of Bandipora areas said that the authorities of CA&PD department have delayed the process of distribution of new ration cards.
They said that the ration cards were prepared by the authorities a long time back but have failed to distribute it on time. “Due to the delay in issuing our rations cards, the half of its validity is already expired,” they told KNS.
The residents said that the authorities have delayed the process of distribution of ration cards. “Keeping in view of the delay in distributing ration cards, the authorities should extend its validity at earliest.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
Inhabitants later urged the higher ups to look into the matter and extend the validity of their newly issued ration cards. (KNS)
