Srinagar, Dec 25: (KNS) Bhartiya Janata Party(BJP) JK spokesman Altaf Thakur today expressed his gratitude to the voters of Dadsara, Tral who vited in his favour in the DDC polls stating that the defeat will not stop him from serving the people.

In a statement issued to KNS, Thakur said people of Dadsara came out to vote despite the mischief played by the vested interests by pasting fake posters issuing threats and by resorting to bursting of firecrackers ahead of polls.

"Winning and lossing is part of the game. It was a close battle and I lost with just 9 votes," he said, adding that lossing the battle will not deter his resolve of serving the people of Dadsara in particular and Tral in General. Thakur said that he will continue to visit Tral and help people resolve their issues.(KNS)
