Srinagar, Dec 13 (KNS): An emergency meeting of employees joint action committee was held at jammu under the chairmanship of EJAC President Ab. Qayoom wani.
In the meeting the decision of govt regarding the regularisation of daily wagers, casual labours and other temporary employees was discussed thread bare.
In the meeting the decision of govt for regularisation of all daily wagers engaged after 1994 till date was highly appreciated and termed the decision a well come step in which about one lac temporary employee are to be regularised very soon.
In the meeting Ab. Qayoom wani hailed the Govt. particularly the hon, ble chief minister Mehbooba Mufti and hon, ble finance minster Dr Haseeb Drabu for taking personal interests in resolving this issue by getting regularisation policy approved from the cabinet.
Wani also hailed employee friendly approach of worthy chief secretary shri B. B. Viyas and Principle secretary to finance shri. Naveen Choudry .

EJAC president Ab. Qayoom wani hailed the employees leaders in particular and employees of the state in general for opting one year wait in the implementation of 7th pay commission in 2016 during negotiations with hon, ble finance minster, worthy chief secretary and worthy Principle secretary to finance only to get these poor employees regularised..
Wani urged upon the hon, ble Chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, Hon, ble Finance minster Dr Haseeb Drabu for implementation of 7th pay commission from April 2018 besides redressel of anamolies in all departments agreed in principle by the govt and announced by Hon, ble finance minster Dr Haseeb Drabu on the floor of assembly during the budget Speech of 2016-17 .
Wani also appealed the govt to formulate a strategy for job policy /regularisation of the employee working under different centrally sponsored schemes besides the revocation of SRO 202.
