SSP distributes cash prizes, certificates

Srinagar, Mar 11 (KNS): To spread the awareness among the general masses especially in youth about the ill effects of drug addiction, a debate competition was held at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall Budgam today.
30 students of different higher secondary schools of district Budgam participated in the competition. Dr. Muhammad Khalif, Principal, Boys Higher Secondary School Budgam was the chief guest and among other Principal RMP School Budgam, Principal Oxford School Budgam and Nazir Ahmad of Rising Kashmir were also present. A large number of students across the district attended the debate.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Budgam, Fayaz Ahmad enjoined youth to become part of anti-drug campaign and help the law enforcing agencies in curbing the drug addiction in the society.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelOn the conclusion of the function SSP distributed the cash prizes and certificates to Zeeshan of Oxford School Budgam, Nahida Haeez of Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Magam and Tabia Gulzar of RMP School Budgam who bagged the Ist, 2nd and third positions respectively. A special cash prize with certificate was awarded to a volunteer participant, Gowhar Ali for her outstanding speech on the topic. (KNS)
