Srinagar, July 15(KNS): A a meeting of  District Development Council members of Kashmir valley was held on Thursday at Srinagar during which a working committee was constituted by them which will take up various issues of DDC'S with the government 

As per statement issued to Kashmir news service (KNS), reads that the body of DDC'S United forum was constituted as under advocate zahoor Ahmad Magray DDC Natnuusa who was given the charge of president of the forum and S Avtar Sing and Anatulla Rather as General secretary while Aijaz Ahmad Mir, and Gulzar Ahmad Dar ,Samia Jaan, adv Qurat Bashir, as vice Presidents 

It reads that Dr Harbakash singh has givin the charge of spokesperson, and Raja waheed as add spokesperson while Abdul Qayoom Mir as treasurer and Shabir Ahmad Lone M,uzaffar Ahmad as secretary and all others  as executive members of the forum.

Notably,  the district development council is a form of elected local government in Jammu and Kashmir facilitated by the Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj Act, 1989.(KNS).
