Bukhari and other party leaders greet new entrants

Srinagar July 15 (KNS): Qaiser Ganai, an elected member of the District Development Council (DDC) from the Khimber block of Srinagar, along with his supporters and workers joined Apni Party (AP) on Friday. He was earlier associated with the National Conference (NC).

 
According to a press note, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari greeted the new entrants at a function at the party’s headquarters in Srinagar.
 
On the occasion, Bukhari said, “I wholeheartedly welcome you into the party fold. I feel delighted to see young and energetic people joining the Apni Party. This indicates that the youth are very much aligned with the policies and the agenda of the party. I assure you that together we will be able to ensure the Apni Party’s agenda, which is to work for the peace, prosperity, and development of Jammu and Kashmir, is implemented on the ground in the near future.”
 
He added, “I also assure you that the party’s leadership will always stand by you when you are out there to serve the masses in your respective areas.”
 
Besides Bukhari, those who were present on the occasion include the Party’s General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Mayor SMC and president of the party’s youth wing Junaid Azim Mattu, Chairman DDC Srinagar and the party’s Provincial Secretary Altaf Malik, former MLA and Apni Party’s District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, Vice Chairman DDC Srinagar Bilal Ahmad, General Secretary ST Wing Khalid Bhadana, Riyaz Bhadana, Mohamad Saleem Bhat (councilor), Mohsin Zafar, and DDC member Shabir Reshi.(KNS)
