LGs visit opportunity for locals, district admin to explore Bangus

Handwara Aug 11 (KNS): District development council (DDC), member, Mawer Khursheed Ahmed Dar on Thursday extended his warm gratitude that lieutenant governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha on arriving to Kupwara's Bangus valley.

In a statement issued to Kashmir News service (KNS), reads that Dar said that earlier he made request to LG administration and tourism department to intensify its compared to explore Bungus Valley. "Since administration has already conducted promotional events in Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Doodhpathri and Guraceim its was important to held an event at Bangus Valley, " he said. 

He further said that the Bangus Valley has a huge potential of tourism, it's important that the administration should invest it’s all possible efforts take Bangus to next Valley.

Dar also said that LG's visit to Bangus valley is an opportunity for the local population and district administration to explore Bungu Valley.

"I am thankful of LG administration and tourism department for organising tourism promotional event in Bangus to explore it in fullest manner" he said.

He also said that the administration should improve infrastructure communication, accommodation and other important things to make Bangus more accessible. 

He also urged local and other tourists to make every effort to protect the Bangus from polythene, plastic and other harmful materials.(KNS).
